Why do people get tattoos of crosses, or ANYTHING for that matter?

Gwen asked:
aren't tattoos considered bad? like we aren't supposed to tag up our body...so why do people get tattoos of crosses, or a big Jesus face on their back...
so doesn't this count for piercings as well?
there is a girl at work...she is a stripper...and she has a big face of Jesus tatooed on her shoulder...isn't that just downright wrong in every aspect? please enlighten me here.

god is dead and there is no sin. the bible is a fairy tale. do what you want with your body. i have a tattoo of the Anarchy symbol on my wrist. I love Anarchy and am devoted to bringing it about.

Who commonly opts for this type? The interbreed tattoo has a estimation and secernment in which women and men like crapper colligate with – it deals with both the sacred and the physical. The unisex feature of the tattoos of crosses mostly represents the aforementioned needs and desires of both sexes.tattoos of crosses restricted – [...]

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very kool love it !
I like that, it’s cool!! Btw, you’re really cute!!!
You mean you don't believe tattoos are the work of the devil, especially, crosses.
My first thought was, "Where the heck, in the bible, does any mention of tattoos appear?"
So I looked it up. Here it is:
Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 19:28
I'd have to say that "No" means no. If you follow the Old Testament and it says don't do it, then it's not okay to do it anyway.
But Christians have the new covenant and might well consider the Leviticus prohibition on tattoos as non-binding. However, I have to wonder why anybody would put graffiti on God's temple (the human body).
I'm agnostic. But still, I see it as foolish to have your flesh permanently and indelibly marked with some graphic or image that you might well regret later. After all, we do mature despite our resistance. That great piece of art might look stupid or foolish to you years from now.
Following the crowd and being smart are usually 2 different things.
arent upside down crosses like some satanic stuff?
